Field visit to INCOIS (Indian National Center for Ocean Information Services) in Pragathi Nagar-Hyderabad, who provides Ocean Information and Advisory Services to the society, industry, government and scientific community through sustained ocean observations and focused research.
On arrival, students have been given a comprehensive presentation on different services provided by INCOIS (Potential Fishing Zone, Tsunami Alerts, Ocean Forecast, Seismic and GNSS network) and its collaboration with various International organizations for their Research studies. Later students have been taken to Tsunami center where Scientists of INCOIS elaborated their analytics and prediction system for earlier Tsunami alerts with Real Time Data.
